Strange spheres lying on the dark beach. No one but us around them.
This is a moment we earned by waking up quite a while before sunrise.
The previous day we already did some scouting to find the most interesting places, but it all looks different when the flood comes. The closer the sunrise got, the more people showed up and we were lucky to already be at our location.
Overall we spent two sunrises and one sunset on the beach. With every time we knew better where to go and what composition to use. When the daylight reached us, we went to bed, like vampires.
Sightseeing buses and hundreds of people went to the boulders while we slept or explored the surrounding.
Unfortunately we never got interesting clouds which could have filled with colour.
Though I’m quite satisfied with the results. Less clouds means less distraction for the portraits.
The glass is half full I guess ;)
“Born to Be” mirrors that we were put (born) in this world, without our decision, without a plan and without a goal.
We washed up on shore of life.
Why are we here and what is the purpose to it all?
